Not only does it work as a standard EV charger, but it also has optional charging programs to use 100% GREEN energy from your self-generated solar or wind power. In addition to increasing your return on investment in solar panels and an electric car, zappi is easy to install and user friendly.
As the first EV charger of its kind, our innovation team has carefully designed features and functions that give you complete control over your electric charging experience. Paired with the myenergi app, you can set timers to use the most advantageous charging rates, turn on the boost feature, manage your devices and much more!

No problem!
Even if you have no PV system, zappi can charge directly from the network. You can always add your solar or wind system later.

Three Charge Modes
This mode is a mix of green energy and energy imported from the grid. The eco-mode keeps the import of energy from the grid to a minimum and can charge with 100% green energy. The charging power is continuously adjusted to the generated power and the consumption elsewhere in the house.
As soon as the surplus of generated energy falls below 1.4kw, the network is called upon to supplement the charging capacity.
The charging capacity is continuously adapted to the generated energy and the consumption elsewhere in the house. The charging of your electric car is paused as soon as there is too much demand on the generated energy and will only resume when there is sufficient surplus again.
In this mode the car is charged at full power. This can be done using a renewable energy source or simply the grid.
If you don't have solar panels or a wind turbine, zappi charges just like any other mode 3 charging point.
What makes zappi unique?
Set timers
At certain hours, energy tariffs are significantly cheaper. With zappi you can use the boost timer option to start charging during these advantageous hours. It's a cost-effective charging timer for your EV!
No earth pin
zappi is the only EV charger with built-in PEN fault technology, the safest choice when it comes to electric charging. This eliminates the need for earth stakes, so no extra cost & easy installation. Why are earth stakes important?
PV charging
zappi works in harmony with your solar PV or wind turbine, which means you can charge your car with green electricity for free. If you don't have a renewable energy source at home, zappi works just like any other charger in 'fast charge' mode.
Remote access
The myenergi app & hub give you access to your devices from anywhere in the world! With clear graphs you can track your import / export information all in one place.
PIN code protection
This smart electric car charging point has a security feature with 5-digit PIN code integrated, should you wish to use it. It prevents people from changing your settings or using your EV charger without permission.

Although zappi is a complex piece of technology, it is very user-friendly. Our growing team of innovators and designers work hard to bring you the most seamless electric car charging experience possible. Unlike some EV chargers on the market, zappi is ready to use right out of the box. It has a built-in LCD screen that displays energy monitoring, such as network import, through simple graphics & combined with an optional CT clamp, you can also see the yield of the solar panels.
